Oviraptor

Oviraptor is Latin for “egg taker” or “egg seizer.” It was given this name since the only known fossil specimen was found in close proximity to a nest of eggs. However, scientists now believe that the eggs were in fact the Oviraptor’s own and that they were brooding over them. This dinosaur lived in the Late Cretaceous Period. Check it out below!
